  1. 6) The disease her mother had made her unable to control her movements and not able to eat
    7) I would get tested just to be safe and plan for the future.
    8) Her family has the right to know because that's her family and they can plan and help her.
    9) A good thing is that you know if you have something and you can move forward. A con is that you will found out you have something that you didn't wanna know.
10)Genetic Counseling- When you go to someone who is trained to help people make decisions about their health
Mutation- Variations in the instruction carried by a gene
Human Genome Project- They have set out to learn the language of the genes
Disorder- Mutations cause problems in how your body functions

  2. 6.Describe the disease Priya's mother had?
Priya's mother has a illness called huntington disease. Priya mother mood constanly changed she also couldn't get any food down without choking.

    7. If you were priya would you get tested for the disease? Why or why not?
I think yes she should get tested to see if she has this illness so she can be aware of her own body.

    8. If pryia is tested and found out to have the gene for the disease, who else has a right to know?

I think her family and specially her boyfriend she know this information, so that everyone can be aware of what's going on with her. Also all of them can try there best to help out pryia with this illness

    9. what are the pros and cons of having this genetic test performed ?

the pros of having this illeness that it's not like it's something that you can die from. The cons having this illness that you cant keep no food down so it sounds like that she will have to eat from an IV. She really cant eat good like everyone else.
