Priya's mother had Huntington's disease.
It caused her to be bedridden, mood swings, uncontrollable movement and can't keep food down.

If I were Priya I would get tested for the disease so I can be aware before I actually develop it.

Priya's family has a right to know and her boyfriend does too because if she were to start a family her child could inherit it.
9. What are the pros and cons of having this genetic test performed?
The cons finding out you have a disease is simply bad news. The pros is your being aware of a disease before actually getting it.
